Relative Marketing & DesignCody Sherrod & crystal Conner of Relative Marketing & Design San Angelo Texas The brother sister team of Relative Marketing and Design moved with their parents to San Angelo the summer before pre-school and first grade, respectively. With roots deeply planted in West Texas, Crystal (Sherrod) Conner and Cody Sherrod continued their collegiate years at nearby Abilene Christian University. Crystal, a few years ahead of Cody, graduated and moved to Austin to work for a petroleum distributor before moving back to Abilene to complete a masters degree in Communication. At the time, Cody was finishing his bachelors degree in Graphic Design, and the two siblings found themselves living under the same roof, once again. After finishing graduate school, Crystal spent several months in Europe before moving to Dallas, where she worked at Southwest Airlines corporate headquarters in the customer relations department (and yes, she landed a famous kiss from Herb Kelleher!) Cody moved to Austin and began a career as a graphic designer for nationally recognized Quantum Digital direct mail and marketing company. As fate would have it, Crystal and Cody both ended up in San Angelo, having never expected that their experiences, talents and interests were preparing them for the business opportunity of a lifetime. Crystal worked as the PR/Marketing Coordinator for Shannon Health & Wellness, where she helped create media campaigns with a national advertising agency, planned community events, and promoted Right Choices for Youth, Catch In Motion and other numerous programs. While in Austin, Cody worked with large corporations and learned how to enhance their marketing through web-based technology. He also built up a large portfolio through freelance projects. Cody, a gifted artist, provides the creative energy, which is complimented by Crystal’s public relations skills. Together they bring the insight and knack needed to promote businesses and organizations, while using creative and unconventional methods. The two provide graphic design, copywriting, photography, web design, strategic planning and market research.
